When I click on search the computer freezes and start no longer functions. Use ctrl-alt-delete to shut down. When I restart everything works until I click search and then again the freeze. How do I fix this? Thanks very much. Paul
To disable the Indexing service: Go to Start/Administrative Tools/Services.
Double click Services and find the Indexing Service. Double
click/properties/Stop. From the Status Type Box, select Disabled.
