Start Menu Right Pane

On the right pane I believe they are shortcuts....documents, pictures, music,
etc. They all seem to work fine but the one for documents does not work. I
know I was messing around with these folders and probably eliminated
something but now I can't restore the "documents" shortcut. The word
"document" is there but when I look under properties the properties pane has
absolutely no info in it. I have tried resetting it as a link and I have
tried resetting to defaults. The word "document" remains on the right pane
but does not open to anything. Any ideas on how I could reestablish this
shortcut on the start menu. Thanks.

This happens if the Documents folder is pointing to an invalid or non-existent location. See:
