Start menu not showing

When i click on the windows start button on the desktop
the menu does not show up until i scroll over it and then
each line i scroll over shows up. Help.

I would suspect a problem with the graphics adapter card driver is the
cause. Please visit the web site of the manufacturer of your video card
and download and install an updated version for your card.
