start expression web trial

I have downloaded and installed the trial but the File New is greyed out so I
can't get started!

What have I not done that I need to do?

Off the top of my head, I'd say you need to activate it. The people would be
most likely to help you hang out in the group

I have been told that you need to reboot! That has done it.
