Start - All Programs - cant find all my programs

S

Sam Saitta

I have a large number of programs installed on my computer. There are so
many that when I go to Start and then All Programs, I can't see all of the
programs. Any ideas how I can either arrange the items to see them all? Is
using subfolders for the programs effective? If so, are there any other
considerations that could cause difficulty in later uninstalling the
program?

If you arrange everything in subfolders, the list will be fast , better,
easy to use.
Mine is like this :

One subfolder is for all basic progams.. like : Microsoft Word, PowerP,
FrontP, Access AND Adobe photoshop, imageready, winamp,Win Movie
maker,Win media player, IE etc..

One is for the programs and games i install.. like : Ea Sports, AutoHotkey,
Quick time, Wink etc..

Now you can put every shortcut in those two but ofcourse you can arrange as
you like...

One problem is : If you move a folder of an application that is already
installed, it will not cause any problems except that when you uninstall
that application that folder will not be removed, you have to manually
remove. But you can sacrifice this little work for the big gain.....
