Standby won't start in XP_Pro

Receive message: "The device driver for the 'Standard
101/102 keyboard or Microsoft Natural ps/2 Keyboard is
preventing the machine from entering Standby'. Please
close all applications and try again. If the problem
persists, you may need to update this driver." I have
followed the instructions, including searching Microsoft
on www for a new driver, but to no avail. KB items all
alude to being for Win9X and ME only.
