My fathers computer has started playing up - although I am assured there's
been nothing done to/with it. Instead of "Turn Off" he would often use
"Standby" when he intended to return to it a short while later ... however
in the last few days every time he tries this the PC attempts to go into
standby and then simply restarts without any key being pressed or the mouse
being moved. The strange thing is that can find nothing that has changed on
the PC. Does anyone have any reasonable explanation for this? Better still a
way to restore this functionality please ...
