Using WinXP Home and Dell 2400 computer. When I click the Stand By option in
the Start menu Turn off Computer my computer goes into stand by but will not
come back on when I touch a key or button on the key board. I have to
restart by pressing the computer power button. How can this be fixed?
Thanks

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.
Click on the + next to Keyboards, then right-click on your Keyboard
device, select Properties > Power Management and place a check
next to "Allow this device to bring the computer out of Standby",
then click OK. Do the same for your Mouse device.
