The weather's great, if it stays this way I may just stroll to the Cutty Sark pub late afternoon and instead of my usual Guinness sink a pint of English-brewed bitter in honor of the celebrated dragon-slayer

It's also Roy Orbison's birthday today. I know he was not an Englishman but he could also put words together, although in a different sort of way.


Nice to see people celebrating St.George's Day. The English saint seems to be the least celebrated of all the Home Nations and most times never gets a mention.
