Spyware update fails

My beta MS spyware has expired.
I have tried to install update but each time I open it I
still get the expiered date message.
I have also tried complete removal of original but still
get expired message

I have now got it working.
I turned off PC and left it for 10 minutes and re-booted
and found that the dates in the bios were incorrect.
Re-set times and dates and re-booted and it wotked.
Strange things happen in the bios settings.
