I have installed and ran numerous spyware (Spyware Doctor, Adaware, etc.)
programs. I keep getting a message on the bottom right toolbar area, that
pops up and says that I need buy and load different types of spyware
software, it doesnt have any property info, so I cant pinpoint the file or
files to delete. When I click on it, Internet Explorer opens up with a
different type of software site. (that it says I need). I really dont want
to reload Windows again.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Tim

Note down the name of the software site that appears when you click on the
popup - then do a Google search and see what you find. Feel free to include
words such as 'malware' or 'spyware' in the Google search. Hopefully this
should lead you to pages where people have had your problem and the how-to so
as to fix it.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update whatever anti-spyware applications that you have and run a full
system scan with each one.

You might want to start in Safe Mode to run your antivirus and anti-spyware
software.

Running a full system antivirus scan or anti-spyware scan in Safe Mode can
be a good idea. Some viruses and other malware like to conceal themselves
in areas Windows protects while using them. Safe mode will prevent those
applications access and therefore unprotect the viruses or other malware
allowing for easier removal.

Never been too sure of Spyware Doctor.. maybe it is responsible for the
'ads'.. SpywareBlaster is good, I find, and requires little ability on the
part of the user to be an effective spyware killer.. ..
