hi all

I am livid right now!

my cousin has installed something that has caused me problems
these pop up windows keep coming up through internet explorer

so i installed ad aware and ran a scan
it found something like 400 files and deleted them that was yesterday

today i am noticing the same problem
I looked in system restore and looks like all the restoration points have been deleted!
I couldnt even find the control panel but since ad aware got rid of these files I can.

I am thinking that maybe these things are returning to cause me a problem.
I just deleted internet explorer and so far so good
what i want is some advice

what freeware software can i use except adaware to get rid of this problem?

my internet is so slow this morning i hope its nothing to do with this problem. :(
any help appreciated thanks psd99

Try both an AV and AS scan - Windows Defender is actually pretty good (just make sure the definitions are updated).

If that fails you might need to post a HJT log here :)
