I have spyware in my "Windows"Downloaded Programs" directory
Can't see any files in the folder but Norton say's they are there.
Folder has an e in the icon and no property tab.
Is this normal? Can I delete and re-create the folder?
Folder options to view are set to show all files, even hidden and system.
How can I see and remove these files?
What is special about this folder?

Use another scumware scanner besides Norton to double check its findings

YES-You need more than 1 malware program, the one's below are all free
and work well.
LSP-fix- http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm
Spybot S&D - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
CWS Smart Killer- http://www.safer-networking.org/minifiles.html

About Buster- http://www.spychecker.com/program/aboutbuster.html
Ad-Aware SE - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
CWShredder - http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4086.html

What is special about this folder?
This folder is where downloaded activex controls are placed,it's no big deal
to delete them if needed they will be reinstalled, deleting the entire folder?
it might be recreated at bootup if it isn't then the one you created will be
in the recycle bin, easy enough to resotre.
