Spoolsv.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows

I am trying to add a printer. Every time I try to do so,
I get the error message:"spoolsv.exe has generated errors
and will be closed by Windows.

I read the article 312052, restarted the spooler, but
still every time I try to add printer I get the same error
message.
The print spooler stops as soon as I try to add a printer.

I also started the regedit32. But I couldn't find anything
wrong.
(I compared the continence with the article Microsoft
Knowledge Base Article nr. 260142)

Spoolsv.exe C0000005 WCSCPY (77f8c248)

You might try deleting the registry key listed below, it has worked for me
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Environments\WindowsNT x86\Drivers\Version-2

You may have to reinstall your printers but this seems to fix the spoolsv errors.
