The spooler subsystem app is intent upon accessing the
internet. Why? I don't want my printer on line.

This can be caused by a virus. What does a scan with a current antivirus
program (meaning a version not later than 2002 and using updated virus
definitions) show?

Malke;
Neither of my spoolsv.exe's (Spooler SubSystem App) in C:\WINDOWS\sytem32 and in
C:\WINDOWS\sytem32\dllcache have any virus. I have Spooler SubSystem App Blocked from accessing
anything in Zone Alarm (Free version). Every time I boot it tries to access the Internet.

WinTasks Process Library says:
Security Risk ( Virus/Trojan/Worm/Adware/Spyware ): No

I read a bunch of stuff on the web concerning why spoolsv.exe tries to access the Internet and
nobody seems to know.

I read somewhere that it is so that you can print at a remote location thru
the internet.
