spooler error gone - now can't get printer to work

Mrs. lgk

I had that spooler subsystem app error. I tried the solutions referenced to
edit the registry and delete the printer and add it again. I did that, but
when I go to print the test page, it won't go. Then it says "error-printing"
in the status on the printer box. Did I do something wrong?

Local printer or a connection to a server?

If Local how is the printer connected to the machine? USB, Standard TCP/IP
port?
