Splash screen is Acer not Windows

How do you change the splash screen, ?

When it boots up, the Acer splash comes up preceeded by a brief flash like
a safe mode setup, can not see what it says it happens very quickly, then the
windows logo comes up then the desktop.
Do you have to change bios settings , if so how?

Vista Home Premium 32 bit, Athlon x2 Amd 64 4600, 2 g ram, BIOS
Version/Date, ASUS M2NBP-VM CSM ACPI BIOS Revision 0601, 1/29/2007,I. NVIDIA
Quadro NVS 210S / NVIDIA GeForce 6150LE

I have seen these items already, i need to know how to get to the bios to see
if it can be changed.
tks/

by the way, these notifications that microsoft sends, the links do not open,
i had to come back via main web site.

notifications are useless if they do not open

You say you want to get into Bios, to look around; why can't you?

Where it says hit F1, F2, or Delete to go into Setup/Bios; just do it.

well i came here looking for some help but all i got was sarcasm, i don't
have a manual , sorry to say , it was custom built, dealer is out of business

What sarcasm; I'm trying to help you.
Setup/bios is what you look for on the screen.

And computers come with virtually no info on how to do anything.
You have to learn it.

You should not have to wait.
From the pull down menus:
select product - Motherboard
Select Series - Socket AM2
Select Models - M2NBP-VM-CSM
Press Search
Select your operating system
Press search
Expand the manuals list by pressing on the + sign
Then go down the list an find the English version of the manual.
M2NBP-VM CSM English Manual
By the way, this board uses the DEL key to enter the BIOS. Press delete
during POST. I usually tap it multiple times.

It sometimes is busy so you may have to try again.

I don't have your original post so am not sure of your exact problem.
When you boot the first screen that displays it is the BIOS boot screen
provided by the MOBO manufacturer since no operating system has been loaded
yet then after Windows boots the Windows splash screen displays.
Are you saying that the Windows log in or desktop displays after the boot
completes without you seeing any Windows display screen first?

What does the Acer splash screen look like? Is there anything on it besides
the Acer logo?
If you do an F8 safe mode boot does the Acer screen come up or after you
select safe mode?
If the Acer screen is before the F8 screen then it is being displayed by the
BIOS since it is before Windows has started the boot process.
If it is after the F8 screen then it is part of the ACER version of Windows
that they have installed on your system.
If the BIOS is displaying it I have no idea if it can be turned off in the
BIOS you would have to check all of your BIOS options.
