Spelling and grammer check

Can anyone help?
I have altered the dictionary to English UK by going in on tools- Options -
Spelling but when I use the spellcheck in outlook it still comes up as
English US unless I manually change it. Also had set it not to check original
message if I am replying but it insistes on checking the original!
 
Are you using Word as your email editor? Have you looked at the setting in
Word to see if it's set for USA?
