What does the phrase, "Text marked with "do not check spelling or grammer"
was skipped" mean? Why is this turned on now on my Outlook Express all of a
sudden when this message never popped up before? How can I tell the program
to check all spelling and grammer and to ignore "text marked with "Do not
check....."?

What version of Outlook Express? See help, about if unsure.

It obviously means it skipped any text marked with 'do not check spelling'.
It's typically used with styles in word and the signature area in outlook.
