Outlook 2003 Spelling

All dictionaries and language defaults on my PC and in Outlook are set to
English UK but when checking the spelling in Outlook it checks in English US.
This is doing my head in now, does anyone have any ideas how to change this?
The dictionary under tools, options, spelling is set to UK, all languages
under control panel are set to UK so I can't understand why Outlook still
checks in US. When I press F7 when creating a message it opens the spelling
window and state it is US, I can change it to UK but cant get it to stay on
UK or default to UK
