Spelling and grammar check

T

trish

Outlook XP - When doing spell check on an email the
following message occurs:

'The spelling and grammar check is complete. Text marked
with "Do not check spelling or grammar" was skipped.'

Microsoft Word is the editing program used. I have
searched every option and customization for spelling and
grammar in both MS Word and Outlook, and nothing is
selected to be skipped. What could be the cause of this
message?

Thank you. It did work - EXCEPT that when we tried a
second email, we had to again select all the text,
because the message reappeared when we didn't. Do you
know of a way to mark it permanently so it doesn't come
up at all?

your styles are marked to not be spellchecked. Select the text then open
Tools, Language, Set language menu.

you'll need to change the settings on the style, but I'm not sure what style
is used for email... it might be easiest to rename normal.dot and let Word
create a new one.
