spell check

I am new, and have had windows xp installed. I see that
when typing a letter it allows use of notepad and
wordpad, only, where is spell check and bold letter or
even viewing of full document at? Please help me.

WordPad and NotePad are nothing more than rudimentary text editors,
and do not
have any advanced word-processing features, such as spell and/or
grammar-checking.

Spell check is NOT part of XP.
