spell check in outlook express 6 not working

The spell check in Outlook Express 6 does not work. I tried almost
everything in the Edit Registry. Can any one help

"Almost everything in the edit registry."?! It has nothing whatsoever to do
with the registry! Install Office.

Just an install of MS Word should do the job. Not as expensive as the whole
Office program, but latter is nice to have.

Although I loaded Microsoft Office 97 that has MS Word, the spell checker in
outlook express remained not working. Thanks to Gene, I loaded the free
spell checker. Now, it works fine.
