Outlook express

Hello I could not find an English speaking Outlook group that
had any updated posts, evidently it has gone the forum way ?
In any case I have this issue maybe you guys can help me.
I had Outlook Express 6.x installed on XP pro SP3. and
for awhile there was no spell check with it. I had MS works
installed but evidently Outlook could not pull a spell check
from it. So recently I installed MS Office 2007. Now the
Outlook Express spell check "is" available but does the
following. Seemingly every single word comes up on the
spell check ? Even words that are spelled correctly.
Have you ever see behavior like this?

There are two active OE newsgroups.

Outlook Express 6 Newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress

Outlook Express General Newsgroup:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general

But I can handle your issue here.

You no longer have spell checking capabilities in some languages in Outlook
Express 6.0 after you install the 2007 Microsoft Office system:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932974

Outlook Express cannot use the MS Word spell check in Office 2007.
Downloading a free spell check is the simplest way around this.

Vampirefo Spell Check.

Download it from Major Geeks:
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

Or download it from SnapFile:
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/spelloe.html

Or you may like TinySpell. (Checks the spelling as you type).

Download it here:
http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/

Australian English Spell Check
(Also suitable for other English speaking countries.)
http://www.justlocal.com.au/clients/oespellcheck/

If you have a previous version of Office, see this:
http://www.outlook-tips.net/archives/2006/20061228.htm

FWIW, I have never used an MS Office program and have used the Vampirefo
spell check for years. It works just fine.
