Spell check - English

Windows Mail claims that it uses English for spell-checking. Unfortunately
it does not - it uses American!

Outlook Express was intelligent in that it used the language that the user
had set up in Office applications, but this option does not appear to be
available in Windows Mail.

How do I get Windows Mail to use English (UK) as its language?

I live in Brazil, and here i have the options-English-French-German, no
Portuguese even with office installed.
This is one more Vista "new features", you cant add any new languages on
Vista ortographic check.
We will have to wait the Bill Gates gang help us in a future update....I am
mad about this too.
I miss so much Outlook Express.

I would also like the option to install new languages.
And it'd be good if the spelling option stated that it's English US and not
English UK.

I agree, that's misleading.

Unlike WinMail, OE used the dictionary that came with Microsoft Office programs.

That can't currently be done, but someone is probably working on it.

Well they ought to get their fingers out and soon as it's bloody annoying to
have to keep adding English words the the awful American suggested spelling.

I understand that Windows Live Mail when it is released later this
month will have support for 39 languages.
