speakers

I can get speakers connected and no sound,I try earphones
and I get sound What's the deal?I am lost and looking for
my lead.....LOL:-o

Restore System Default Sounds (Line 6)

First make sure you done the obvious:

1. Plugged the speakers into the correct "hole" in the sound card.
2. Make sure they have power ( a light will usually show somewhere on the
speakers - depending on which speakers you have)
3. Try running dxdiag (the sound bits)

Let us know what happens when have have done 1,2, and 3

4. Go to windows update, do the scan, and check the Driver section for any
sound card driver update, if any is listed, install it.
