Speakers stopped working

Hi all

Running XP and the speakers have stopped working. All connections are fine
and I've been through the XP help with no success. There is one Tarzan game
that still has sound, (which we've been using for years), but all other
sounds are off. I think that I downloaded a driver or something that did
some resets. Very grateful for your help
 
Boot into Safe Mode, open Device Manager, remove all instances of your sound
card, reboot and Windows should redetect and install the drivers.
