Speakers & Headphones

Hi,

I've got headphones (USB) and speakers (Normal minjack in soundcard). When
the headphone is plugged in the speakers don't work. I thought that the usb
headphones where a separate channel, so when I want to use speakers I don't
have to unplugged them. (that's the whole reason I bought USB). Can I solve
this?

Are you trying to listen to the same thing or two different channels?
 
He doesn't understand the concept of headphones................that they are
for private listening and therefore the speakers would not be needed...
