Speaker notes without dual monitor

I don't have the dual monitor option on my computer. I tried but my laptops
won't let me do it. Is there any other way to have notes on my screen but not
on the projector?

Sorry, presenter view relies on the computer having a different image
projected than is on the laptop. If you laptop only supports mirrored mode
(same thing on laptop and projector), that is what you are limited to...

I've been using, and really like the VTBook PCMCIA video card from Village

It's not the cheapest card of this type ($200 - $250 street price) but I
have yet to find a monitor or projector it can't handle.
