How do you hide speaker notes when you've set up a projector?! Laptops don't
recognise this as a monitor. Can you not hide speaker notes on projector
presentations?

I'm using 2003, but the laptop doesn't recognise the projector as another
monitor, it just sees it as an adaptor, so when i try switch on the presenter
view it doesn't work, and i don't know how to change it to see the projector
as a second monitor. the presenter view used to work with powerpoint 97 (or
98 i can't remember) and somehow 2003 is not as straight forward to use, i'm
actually trying to get hold of an old 97 version just to use for the
presentations. There's been just too much time playing around with it and
getting nowhere...

Hm. I'd think the monitors would be set up under Start/Control
Panel/Display. But it's unusual for a projector not to be recognized.

I can usually get projector stuff set up when I have to, but I know I can't
explain what's going on here. Perhaps a visit to the projector mfg website
support or a call to their tech support line is in order? They may have seen
something like this before.
