I find an email in my box that a friend warned me about. she said that when
she deleted it, a copy of the mail was sent to everyone in her address book.
how do I prevent this from happening to me????

You are talking about Windows Mail or Windows Live Mail, right?

Doesn't sound right to me. If you delete it, then also delete it from your
delete folder, you should be ok. DO NOT open it. Don't try to read it,
Don't try to move it. That's my opinion. Please wait for others to
respond. I'm sure there will be some.

Highly unlikely?

Just in case, File menu>work offline.
Then keystrokes Alt V L P to turn off preview pane, only if you have it
enabled now.
Then keystrokes Alt T O read tab>select read all in plain text>apply/ok.

Now select the message>hold down the shift and delete key.

She's wrong. Deleting the mail did not send a copy to anyone. She opened
it and probably opened its attachment.
