SP4 not being installed

We've installed SP4 on numerous Win2K pro workstations without problems

For 5 of them (different hardware) it simply does not install. We install from a CD, installation goes well and it reboots at the end of the process, no error message. After reboot, it still show Service Pack 3 when we Winver or check in Systems properties.

We tried installing from Safe Mode but no success

Anyone has an idea ?

Do an inplace upgrade and redo the SP4 and do update after and decide which ones you need
and add.

Make sure that ALL antivirus programs are off and that you
have Administrator privileges to install software. Also,
how old are these machines?
