I regularly update my PC but it failed to update sp2 package now available on the site. What could be the reason and what is the path where Windows Update files are downloaded automatically?

SP 2 is not yet available.
It is still in Beta and should not be installed unless you understand
the risks.
My guess it the final version will be out in 3 - 5 weeks.
