SP2, ZA4 and AVG

Prior to installing SP2, should I uninstall or merely deactivate Zone Alarm
and AVG Virus Checker?
 
I just disabled them. Windows complains about security... but oh well!
 
When I installed SP2 RC1 then RC2 I did not diable my firewall or AVG and had no problems.

When I did disable them and tried to install the RCs I did have problems.
