sp2 unistall

sp2 was installed on computer. after installation received message
"wxplorer.exe - entry point not found - the procedure entry point
SHCreatethreadRef coun not be located in the dynamic link library
Shlwapi.dll." I followed the directions to resolve this problem. Resolution
states remove XP Hotfix KB834707. After removal it states to remove xp2 but I
get the message "Access Denied." Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove
the update completely.
