SP2 over Slipstreamed SP2 RC1

Has anyone tried installing SP2 over a slipstreamed SP2
RC1 installation. Will it work coz I cant afford to
reinstall the OS. Or is there anyway to uninstall SP2 RC1
first and then install SP2.

SP2 should install ok over either RC1 or RC2.

It ought to; Microsoft regard SP! final over RC1 or RC2 as being
supported paths, and I have done it over RC2. I would use the Full SP2
CD (or download) though, not attempt it via Windows Update.

I have gone from win98SE > XP pro SP1 +RC2 > XP pro SP2 with no
problems
