Slipstream SP2

I am going to re-install Windows XP on my machine and found a website
explaining how to slipstream SP2 with my Windows XP CD but the link it
provided for SP2
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...be-3b8e-4f30-8245-9e368d3cdb5a&displaylang=en
is over 3 years old. I was curious if there is a newer version of the SP2
patch with all the latest patches already in it so I can save more time than
having to download the rest of the patches, I believe this is over 100.
Thanks!

You can check out the download here although I can't say if it will be all of the
updates included with it.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/default.mspx

You could also get any updates from here and incorporate them into the slipstream
disk:

You'll have to go through the pages to find them all.

IMO the frustration and time with creating and proving it works is useless
compared to using a simple imaging program. Slipstreaming is never up to
date anyway as updates come out weekly.

How often do you image your hard drive? How many times have you needed
to restore an image?

No but it sure would be nice to slipstream 3 years worth of updates into the
CD instead of downloading them again. It also seems silly to me to make an
image when the point of me formatting my HDD is to rid myself of the junk
that has infested itself into my computer. Why do I want an image with all
the garbage it has collected, I want a clean start.
