SP2 on new XP Pro System

Hi,
I just received a laptop with XP PRO SP1 installed. I have only minimal software on the
system so far.

I have the MS CD with the SP2 update.

Is there anything special I should do before I install the update?

You may also contact your PC manufacturer to learn more about updates which
you need to install as most probably you must be using a OEM version of
