SP2 Issue (Explorer Crash)

when ever i load a folder with video files in it explorer
will crash. i don't have the divx codec installed, but i
think i might have part of it will on my pc from a codec
pack i had on their. whats the best wayto have explorer
not crash? reinstall divx then uninstall it? or is their
a reg entry i can change or what?
