SP2 Help needed

I just installed the xp sp2 and ever since my computer
will not boot up completely. It gets to the XP screen,
goes blank, stalls and then reboots itself only to
continue this pattern. I have done a complete virus scan
and have detected no viruses. Any advice would be greatly
appreciated. Thank you.

well seeing as how sp2 is only in BETA testing thats a
risk you take installing software that is not finished for
compelte release. suggest you find the sp2 BETA newsgroup
and post there.

Assuming, of course, you are an 'official' Microsoft beta tester. Otherwise
you will not have access to the private beta newsgroups.
I installed SP2 beta without any problem and i can't say that i have come
across your particular problem.

Reboot tapping F8 each second.
Select Safe Mode at the menu.
Then go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
Click Service Pack 2 and uninstall.

If that option is not available, reboot tapping F8, this time choose
"Last known good configuration".
