SP2 for XP, Internet not working

I just loaded Servicepack 2 on my pc. Now when I open
Internet Explorer, the site starts to load then the
Internet window closes. I have the Windows Firewall
disabled and ZoneAlarm disabled. Is there a registry
entry causing this or a system setting somewhere which
needs to be "tweaked"?

Is your system 100% virus and spyware-free? What programs did you use to
determine this and did you scan in Safe Mode?
