SP2 Explorer.exe crash on desktop

Hi,

When installing SP2 I get the following crash

==================================
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Error
Event Category: None
Description:
Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x90909090.
==================================

whenever I double click or right click anything on my desktop. I have run
AdAware, uninstalled AVG antivirus, DivX and all other programs I've read
could cause problem. I've followed the tips that "Kelly" suggests in this
newsgroup. It seems like many people with me are experiencing this problem.

When uninstalling SP2 the problem goes away.

Can anyone (MS?) come up with a solution to this problem?

Thanks,
Manso

Is DivX 5.2 installed? If so go back to 5.1.

Oops..sorry I missed that you already removed DivX. Do you have
spysweeper installed?
