SP2 Can't aquire network address

After installing SP2, I am no longer able to access my home network. Using a
cable modem and router my local area connection first tries to locate network
address, isn't able to assign address and say "limited or no connectivity"
Any suggestions?

Sorry, no answer here, but I have the exact same problem. Would love
to find the answer. I had backed up everything with True Image, so no
problem to go back to my original image, which I did. Before I try
again I would like to see if this is easily remedied. BTW, I did try
to go into alternate configuration and manually enter the IP Address,
Default Gateway and Subnet Mask just to see if that would help, but
that had no affect at all. I am surely not a network guru, so it is
probably something simple. Anyone?
