sp2 and recovery console

I decided to install Recovery Console on my XP Pro sp2 desktop but when I
tried to execute i386\winnt32.exe /cmdcons from the setup CD I got an error
saying that:

'Setup cannot continue because the version of Windows on your computer is
newer than the version on the CD. '

How can I install the recovery console after the sp2 update?

Hi

If you have upgraded to SP2 and you are using a CD from a previous version
of XP, you will see that error message. To install the Recovery Console in
SP2, you will need to create a slipstreamed SP2 CD.

You can download the SP2 file (266 MBs) from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...BE-3B8E-4F30-8245-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en -
or if you have a copy of the SP2 CD, you can copy the xpsp2.exe file from
that CD onto your hard disk/partition and use that:

then follow the directions in the following article to create a slipstreamed
XP CD:
