Your mistake was in purchasing that "P.O.S." HP Pavilion. These are
HP's "giveaways", in my opinion.
Vista works great with Intel Motherboards and CPUs, by the way.
My advice?
Get rid of that HP computer, and have one made for you from the
ground-up, this time NOT using HP. Mine was made for me at a local
shop, from parts I chose off-the-shelf in their shop.
By the way, there is nothing wrong with your card. It's a great card.
Mine is the same, but not from nVidia directly, but from eVGA.
I also had the GPU over-clocked.
Additionally, I have 3.3GB memory available to Windows.
Why? Because memory was installed as dual-channel, rather than in a
single channel. Installing memory as dual-channel really increased
the speed of the machine (memory speed went from 333MHZ to 667MHz when
I installed the memory correctly.)
By the way, "Sweet Baby"... Are you any kin to the Star Wars character
called "Jar Jar Binks", from "Naboo"?
Your English is very much like the Naboo/Basic pidgin he spoke.
