my computer makes a bomb exploding sound when I open and
close certain pages especially when I'm checking my
hotmail. How do I make those sounds cease fire.

Besides turning your sound down a bit.

Open Control Panel/Sounds. Under Program Events, scroll down to Start
Navigation and Complete Navigation and see which sound is associated with
these events. Change or remove sound as required.
