Soundcard

I bought long time ago magix music maker sofware, but it
can't transfer/record the analog signals into digital
sounds on windows xp professional. With other words there
is no connection. What must I do? Is my soundcard enable
enough for this or are there some child disases wich a
read with xp in combi with the music maker. Can U help me
please!??,

It might never work with XP. Software written for the WIN9x technology
chain could do certain things that XP will not do. One of those things is to
directly access hardware ports, like the sound card.
I don't know for sure that this is the problem, but it does sound like it.
