sound recorder

Hi,

i am trying to use my microphone on my sound recorder,
its not registering anything, i dont have speech
recognition since i dont have office. my recorder has
worked before but now it wont register, the mic works on
yahoo messenger but not on aim. help plz
I dont know if this is the right newsgroup

Try putting your mic in the "Line in" port, rather than
the "Mic" Port... Sometimes that works.
