Hi JinKae,
The first thing I would do is update the sound card's drivers.
Download the driver from the internet, save it to a folder
and check to see if it includes a readme file with instructions.
If it's a .exe file, you just have to double-click it, otherwise...
To install the driver, go to Control Panel / System / Hardware
Device Manager / Expand the Sound, video and game controllers
section/ select your sound card from the list / double click on it,
click the Driver Tab / Click the Update Driver... button, and then
point it to the new driver(s) which you downloaded. Good luck!

| Ok here is my situation: Whenever I start my pc its fine no probs in sound, nor when I run programs like Windows Media Player or
Winamp. On the other hand, when I start any pc game, about 5 minutes into it my sound just cuts off. It doesn't come back no matter
what I do, and the fact is that when it goes off and I get out of the game, I cannot shut down my computer. If anyone could help me
with this it would be greatly appreciated.
