Sound Problem after installing Service Pack 2

Is there a fix for a problem with sound after installing service pack 2? If
not, is there a way to uninstall the service pack? The problem is with
LAUNCH - it was working before the update and says it's working now, but no
sound. The sound is working in other areas but not in LAUNCH.
